Recently, the fully independent and controllable lock control system simulation platform for the Pinglu Canal has completed assembly, debugging and been put into operation. As the first fully independent and controllable simulation platform for newly-built ship locks in China, this platform will conduct systematic and in-depth verification on chips, operating systems, software and hardware, control programs and network security systems of the lock control system, effectively shorten the on-site commissioning period, and lay a solid foundation for building a world-class lock control system that is independent, controllable, safe, reliable, intelligent and efficient.

It is reported that the core task of the platform is to comprehensively verify the control functions, network architecture and software-hardware adaptability of the localized automatic lock control system. It can be regarded as a “comprehensive simulation test” covering all key links before the system is officially put into operation, ensuring that the verified results can be seamlessly applied to the actual project.

Integrating systematic verification, real environment simulation, extreme working condition testing and safety assessment, the platform achieves all-round coverage from single equipment to the whole system, from normal working conditions to extreme faults, and from functional testing to safety assessment. The commissioning of the platform marks a key step forward for the Pinglu Canal in the field of independent and controllable lock control systems. It will provide a solid guarantee for the long-term safe and stable operation of the ship locks and contribute a “Pinglu Model” to the construction of major national strategic projects.
