It is learnt that Nanning organized more than 50 cultural tourism activities and implemented tourist-benefited measures during this New Year’s Day holiday, making its cultural tourism market continue picking up momentum. With an orderly market, both residents and tourists were able to enjoy a safe, orderly and happy holiday.

Among these activities, Guangxi Culture & Art Center held a new year symphony concert of classic music and world-famous tunes by Johann Strauss from Vienna, a new year concert by State Academic Symphony Orchestra of Russia and a new year concert of Chinese zither. Guangxi Art Museum held 2023 Guangxi Art Works Exhibition, and Anthropology Museum of Guangxi put on many performances on intangible heritage, including folk music and folk songs. These activities were very hot and welcomed by residents and tourists. During this holiday, Nanning welcomed 2.738 million visits and earned 2.694 billion yuan in terms of tourism, according to statistics.
